Route 29 Stops at Overland & Owyhee on both sides have been closed and temp stops placed on each side, far side of the intersection.

Route 28 is on small detour at Frank Church High School; The stop on Pro Tech and Salt Creek SEC is closed, we have a temp stop placed crossed the road on Pro Tech and Salt Creek SWC.

The stop on Latah and Alpine towards MSS is closed for construction and temp stop placed on the far-side of the R&R tracks.

Funding & Usage Information

Funding for Valley Regional Transit (VRT) is provided through a variety of revenue sources. The majority of funding is received through federal grants and voluntary contributions from local partners, with a small amount from bus fares and advertising revenue. VRT works with the governing bodies within Ada and Canyon counties to leverage these funding sources to provide transit services, initiate capital projects, and fund regional planning and administration of the system. VRT works with other agencies like the Community Planning Association of Southwest Idaho (COMPASS) and the Idaho Department of Transportation (ITD) to find and secure additional funding sources that could provide one-time project funding needs, as well as coordinate sustainable funding strategies that are necessary to grow public transportation in the Treasure Valley.
