On New Year’s Eve, VRT’s Route 7 Fairview will run enhanced late-night service, making it easy to get to and from your favorite downtown spots — including everyone’s favorite Spuddy Buddy — safely and conveniently.
To support New Year’s Eve festivities, Route 7 Fairview will operate with extra trips every 15 minutes from 7:00 PM to 1:00 AM.

The Board is scheduled to meet four times a year – January, April, August, and October. The meetings are held at noon in the first-floor Board Room at the VRT administrative offices, 700 NE 2nd Street in Meridian. Posted agendas will contain a call-in link for remote participation.

Join Valley Regional Transit for a hands-on Learn to Ride event! Ride the bus, tour Main Street Station, and explore Boise’s transit system.
Join Valley Regional Transit for a guided Learn to Ride event on Friday, February 27th, from 9:00–10:30 AM. We’ll meet at Happy Day Transit Center, ride Route 42 together into Downtown Nampa, explore the area, and then head back to Happy Day Transit Center—all with VRT staff along for the ride.
This hands-on training is perfect for new riders, folks who want a refresher, or anyone curious about how to navigate routes, timing, and transit centers with confidence. Ask all your lingering questions, see how the system works in real time, and experience how easy it can be to get where you’re going by bus.
